With an increase in demand for international medical volunteers, medical mission trips provide something as seemingly simple as routine medical care, to more advanced medical assistance, toward the betterment of those in desperate need. Please continue to check this page for updated information about upcoming medical mission trips.
On this trip, Global First Responder will be continuing its new initiative of partnering with local hospitals in Haiti to support sustainable healthcare development. There will be a continuation of the shared goal to equip hospitals with the skills, education, and supplies they need to provide health care for patients and staff. Volunteers on this trip will not directly provide the health care, but they will instead work side by side with local physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other staff to share knowledge and skills. We are beginning where there is the greatest need: emergency and general medicine as well as pediatrics. Be a part of our partnership in Haiti, today!
On this trip, five groups will be working together as a team to provide medical aid to residents of communities in and around Montrouis and Port Au Prince. Global First Responder is excited to be able to work with Osapo, Project Medishare, and Partners in Health. A large team delivers large results!
Volunteers will be offering full-service medical clinics and health education classes and engaging in community service projects. The medical clinics will provide primary health care to all ages. The health education classes will cover general hygiene, disease prevention, infant care, CPR, and first-aid training. The community service projects involve constructing additions and making improvements to a hospital in Montrouis.
This trip will involve Global First Responder members and volunteers going to the Azilal Region in Morocco. We will work to provide medical and humanitarian aid to locals.
Our volunteers offer medical clinics and health education classes and engage in community service projects for the area. We work with local physicians to provide primary health care for all ages. The health education classes cover general hygiene, disease prevention, infant care, CPR, and first-aid training. The classes are open to the public and health officials in the area.
We are always excited to be helping out, however, we particularly look forward to working in Morocco. We are grateful to have the opportunity to help to improve the lives of others and the well-being of communities!
