The nonprofit Camp Mak-A-Dream is a cost-free, medically supervised Montana experience for children, teens, young adults, women, and families affected by cancer. Each camp session has a volunteer medical team of nurses and doctors who review camper medical files, administer medications, and handle any medical emergencies 24 hours a day.

Camp No Limits is a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic camps—in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Maine, Missouri, and Texas—for young people with limb loss and limb difference and their families. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, prosthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals are needed as volunteers at Camp No Limits.

Camp Promise

Camp Seale Harris


Camp Seale Harris—administered by the nonprofit Southeastern Diabetes Education Services—offers a medically-supervised, fun camp experience in Alabama and Northwest Florida for youth with diabetes. Volunteers include medical professionals.


Camp STAR


Camp STAR, located in Big Bay, Michigan, is the primary program of STAR Children’s Bereavement Services, a not-for-profit organization. Camp STAR is for children that have experienced the death of a loved one, parent, sibling, friend, or grandparent. Two volunteer registered nurses are needed to be on site the entire weekend of camp.
