Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition International (TASSC), a nonprofit working in Washington, D.C., provides direct assistance to survivors of torture with the goal of healing, obtaining asylum, and rebuilding their lives in the United States.
TASSC relies heavily on volunteers to assist with many of the survivors needs and works closely with torture treatment centers, generous doctors, and other health professionals.
