Mother Health International

Mother Health International (MHI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to responding and providing relief to pregnant women and children in areas of disaster, war, and extreme economic poverty.

On a case by case basis, MHI accepts volunteer midwives to work side by side with traditional midwives and local nurse midwives. Midwives and doctors must believe in and support the traditional midwifery model of care and have experience and understanding of cultures other than their own.
