Midwives for Haiti is a nonprofit organization that offers a skilled birth attendant training program, operates a mobile prenatal clinic and a birth center, assists with staffing the Maternity Center at Ste. Therese Hospital, and collaborates to run a postnatal care program and a matròn outreach program.
Certified nurse midwives, certified professional midwives, licensed midwives, OB/GYN physicians and nurses, labor/delivery nurses, and lactation consultants are needed as volunteers.
