Janian Medical Care

Janian Medical Care was established by the Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS), a nonprofit organization, to both carry on the work of the Project for Psychiatric Outreach to the Homeless and to enable CUCS to expand its service offerings to include primary medical services for homeless, formerly homeless, and other individuals facing disparities in health care in New York City.

Volunteer opportunities are offered for clinicians seeking advanced degrees in the medical field or for physicians and clinicians interested in donating expertise and time. Janian Medical Care’s Volunteer Therapist Network has opportunities for therapists to volunteer also.
