Hospitalito Atitlán is a small, private, nonprofit hospital serving 75,000 Maya living on the southern shore of beautiful Lake Atitlán in the Guatemalan highlands.
Especially needed are volunteer clinicians with experience in family medicine, obstetric and gynecological medicine, midwifery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, and urgent care. Other volunteers that may be needed include specialists, ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, orthopedic surgeons, dentists, registered nurses, paramedics, and laboratory and radiology technicians.
