Health Horizons International

Health Horizons International (HHI) is a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization founded to find a way for medical service trips to sustainably improve health in partnership with the communities themselves.

Volunteers enable HHI’s primary healthcare field clinics to provide continuity of care in impoverished communities of the Dominican Republic. Volunteers join an international team of clinicians, pharmacists, medical interpreters, students, community health workers, and public health educators for a challenging, rewarding, and memorable week of service.
