Global Health Volunteers is a not-for-profit organization that recruits, trains, and sends teams of healthcare professionals to provincial villages and distressed urban areas in Latin America and the Caribbean to provide professional health care and health education to people with little or no access to these resources.
Volunteers include physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, community health educators, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
