Chernobyl Children International (CCI) was established to give support and hope to children living in the aftermath of the 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear disaster.

As a charitable, non-profit organisation, CCI relies heavily on the contribution of thousands of volunteers. Volunteers in the medical programme include doctors, nurses, surgeons, and dentists who offer their time and talents to provide medical treatments and hospice care to the children of Chernobyl.
