Bator Tabor is a Hungarian nonprofit organization that organizes therapeutic recreation camps for seriously ill children and their families, as well as for families who lost a child due to a severe illness.

Each child is paired with a volunteer called a cimbora (Hungarian for buddy). They perform different roles, but what is common in their work is that they work with children and inspire and motivate them. Medical cimboras are doctors, nurses, dietitians and physical therapists.
